Why do you like wheelchair basketball? And why did you start playing the sport?

I have always been competitive and love sport. Having played many sports I loved the teamwork and skills that wheelchair basketball brings.

Why did you decide to join Cheshire Phoenix Wheelchair basketball club/ Angels?

Had the honor to be asked to be an ambassador.

Do you have a favourite wheelchair basketball player? If so, who and why?

Patrick Anderson is a legend of the game but all of my GB team mates were special. As I grew up my inspiration and learning came from Leroy Dobson, Ian Laker and Gordon Perry

Do you have a future goal for the sport such as going Elite, becoming a coach etc...?

Just to promote the sport and encourage others to get active.

What hobbies do you have?

Gaming

Cycling

Caravanning

and spending time with family

Do you go to college or university and if so, what do you or did you study?

Finished Uni. Did a BA Hons in Leisure Management and Sport & Exercise Science.

Do you have any cool qualifications in anything?

Awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Philosophy from University of Gloucestershire in 2019 for my contribution to disability sport representing GB and development work.

Spinster because I was the master at the scoop spin layup.
